NVIDIA Confirms Existence of RTX 2060 12GB

The GeForce RTX 2060 12 GB has been the subject of numerous articles for a few weeks and must be officially announced on December 7th. NVIDIA cleared up any remaining doubts: Within hours, the company mentioned it in pilots, then listed it on their site.

This 12 GB RTX 2060 is based on a Turing GPU (TU106) engraved in 12 nm. As recently discovered, it is modeled on the RTX 2060 Super when it comes to cores . It thus has 2176 CUDA cores, 34 RT cores and 272 Tensor cores. On the memory side, it's 12 GB of GDDR6 at 14 Gbit / s, on a 192-bit bus, like the original RTX 2060. The result is a memory bandwidth of 336 GB / s. The card's TGP is up 10 watts compared to that of the GeForce RTX 2060 Super: it goes from 175 W to 185 W.

Regarding the price, an NVIDIA spokesperson told The Verge that this benchmark was "a premium version of the RTX 2060 6GB" and therefore "the price would reflect that . " Answer on December 7, launch date of this GeForce RTX 2060 12 GB, which will be offered in FE and custom models. Note that the price of the RTX 2060 6GB has been lowered from $ 349 to $ 299.
